ONLINE LEARNING BEGAN ON MONDAY, APRIL 13TH.
Seesaw
Seesaw is the platform that Kindergarten will be using for online learning. I will assign activities for students daily through Seesaw and students will be able to respond and complete assignments using a variety of interactive tools. Signing up for Seesaw is simple. You have received instructions on how to access your student's Seesaw account via Remind message. Also with the instructions, you will find your student's specific home access code that you will need to log into their account. To get familiar with Seesaw before our official online learning begins, I have assigned a fun activity for students to complete when they log in for the first time.

Steps to Access Seesaw:
1. Go to https://app.seesaw.me on a computer or download the Seesaw Class App on a mobile iOS or Android device.
2. Choose "I'm a Student".
3. Type in the 12 letter code you received for your student.

Online Learning
Starting on April 13th, I will upload a literacy, math, and writing activity into Seesaw for your student to complete. I will upload three assignments each weekday until we return to school. When your student has completed an assignment, they will click the green check to submit it to me (it's very important that they don't forget this step, or I won't see their work!) These activities are to be completed whatever time of day works best for you and your family, so if you want them to do them first thing in the morning, spread out throughout the day, or in the afternoon that is perfectly fine! WHATEVER WORKS BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Dreambox Login: 1. Go to the Wakefield website.
2. Click on the "Wake ID" icon on the middle, right side.
3. Username: their student ID number (message me if you do not know this and I can send it to you) Password: 123456
4. Click the Dreambox icon to launch the app (you may have to download the app if on an iPad/phone/etc.)

Kindergarten Registration: It is already time for Kindergarten registration for the 2020-2021 school year! If you or someone you know has a rising Kindergarten student, please encourage them to get started with the process of registration. This link will show you all the steps necessary to register a new student for kindergarten! Rising Kindergarten orientation date is TBD.
